Hueston Woods Resort & Conference Center (Lodge) is designated as the Show Headquarters and is deemed to be part of the show grounds and is under control of the Show Committee. The Hueston Woods State Park Camp Grounds is also part of the show grounds and is under the control of the Show Committee.
Any damage done to the motel rooms, room contents, or other motel or campground premises is the responsibility of the exhibitor, and the Show Committee will recommend the suspension of showing privileges, as well as possible sanctions by the Greater Swiss Mountain Dog Club of America, Inc. and the AKC. In conjunction with this, all dogs must be crated at all times while they are in the motel rooms/cabins unless under direct supervision. Motel staff will be asked to contact the Show Committee/Bench Committee if they become aware of any variance from this.
Absolute requirement - It is imperative that we leave the facilities in good condition so that we, as well as other dog organizations, can be invited back.
Exhibitors, Agents, and Owners Are Responsible for cleaning up after their dogs or any dogs under their care or supervision. This includes in and around the hotel and in designated areas provided and carefully marked by the Show Committee.
Bathing and Grooming of Dogs
Bathing and Grooming of Dogs will be in a designated area. OUTSIDE ONLY. Bathing and grooming are NOT PERMITTED in rooms, nor is the use of resort linens permitted for such purposes. Hoses and nozzles will be provided.
